2022 Manchester City Cup
Event Overview:
The 2022 Nexen Manchester City Cup returns to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend.
Tournament Dates: May 26 – 30, 2022 (Supergoups)

UPDATED: 11 v 11 Boys games will be held at SoCal Sports Complex (Oceanside) and Boys 9v9, 7v7 & ALL Girls will play at Surf Cup Sports Park (Del Mar).
Parking fees $12 at SoCal Sports Complex | $12 at Surf Cup Sports Park
This is a stay and play event. All hotel reservations must be made through Maverick Sports Travel
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
U7-U9 (2015-2013) play 7 v 7
U10-U11 (2012-2011) play 9 v 9
U12-U19 (2010-2003) play 11 v 11
All Teams will compete at the 2021/22 age group level (2012's will play 9v9 and 2010's will play 11v11) and must also present laminated USYSA player cards for the 2021/22 season (no mixed cards).
The Nexen Manchester City Cup 2022 will comply with the California Department of Health Public Health policies. As we continue to monitor the ever-changing landscape surrounding COVID-19, we will be releasing a fully updated policy guideline closer to the event. Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19, a full refund will be issued minus credit card processing fees)
All teams are guaranteed three games. This event is a Summer Surf Cup qualifier for the Champion and Finalists from the TOP divisions in each age group.
Registration deadline April 15, 2022 midnight.

Refund Policy:
Accepted teams that request to drop from the tournament prior to the April 15th application deadline will be entitled to a full refund less a $75 administration fee and less the credit card processing fee.
Any accepted team is not entitled to a refund for any reason (unless COVID related) after the April 15th application deadline.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance; Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a governmental order cancels the event or prevents your team from traveling to the event, you will receive a full refund minus any credit card processing transaction fee.
